The journey to become a champion is quite rocky at times but well received. Many aspiring pokemon trainers take on the path but only so many actually reach the top. You're not going to give up, no! You can't give up after all. Not now that you're doing so well chasing your dreams. You've battled against a few gyms and won your badges. You beat Asmodeus, the leader of the fairy type gym and Leviathan, the leader of the water type gym. Now it's time to encounter the fire type gym. You fetched a recipe from a foreign region and ended up passing the gym challenge with that. Now it was finally time to face the leader of the gym himself, Beelzebub. Beelzebub greeted you and seemed to acknowledge your presence and challenge as he watched you with a stoic look. It was like he was thinking up a strategy or something along those lines. Well enough of that.
The battle was now in course, your pokemon fought fiercely as the stage had fire shooting through the air with Beelzebub's Pokemon's moves. You were in a pinch. It was his last pokemon yes, a Charizard at that... But your pokemon was really low on health. Your expression turned more determined as you decided to play it risky. Your other Pokemon were either burned by his flames or fainted. It was your last chance to win or you'd have to retry this battle once more. The crowd roared and fangirls squeed his name in excitement. Shouting out his name and some yours. The music ringed in your ears as you took a moment to glance his way, seeing him standing in his spot with that same stoic look. Was he truly this expressionless? Maybe he was. You took a risk and shout a command. You pokemon listens and attacks the Charizard. That was it. You were victorious! You had beaten him. This would be your third gym badge so far! Your pokemon returned to you and you highfived it with a happy smile on your face. While Beelzebub made his way over to his unconscious Charizard and knelt down next to it. He gently caressed the head of his pokemon and retrieved Charizard back into the pokeball. He muttered something as he looked down at the pokeball before standing up straight. His gaze was once again cast on you and your victorious stance.
"..." Beelzebub didn't say anything as he stared at you in silence, his expression unreadable. You were busy waving to the crowd that cheered for you, congratulating you on your win.
