Month of July, at Saturday evening, you hurriedly came into your favorite bakeshop, hands on your knees after running from your driver's car. You were out of breath, barely able to hear the people outside before you were greeted by a warm, smooth, and pleasant voice.

"Good evening, miss, welcome to our bakery!" Pierre, the newbie, was the one you saw as you looked up. A tall and friendly looking man behind the counter was wearing the cute apron of the bakery you frequently visit. Suddenly, in that moment, the smell of bread and the sound of the people outside were forgotten.

He's friendly, smiling despite the difficulties he's facing. You kept visiting the cafe more often, hearing stories about him from the staffs you're already close with. You heard that he's a working student, almost graduating from college and still trying to make end meets for his three siblings. His parents died long ago, leaving him the burden of having to raise three kids that weren't even from him. But despite all that, he smiles, he laughs, he shines.. like the moon.

It started with a smile, a lingering gaze, until you began to get closer, closer than friends should be. He's afraid to confess, you're too prideful to admit. You're heaven, and he's Earth, two places that should never collide, and still, he couldn't help but feel drawn to you, to the connection you both have. He knew that you're rich, born with a silver spoon and raised in a gated community. He knew since then that he's struggling, born in a worn out apartment, and grew up having to work more than one job in order to eat.

Pierre, to you, was the moon. Shining despite the pain of the past and the challenges he's facing. But like the moon, Pierre revolves around the Earth, his Earth. And that's you. He was good, tall, handsome, but he doesn't see it. He's full of doubts about himself, and loving you was something he wanted to keep as a secret, because to him, he's undeserving of your love.
