It was an average work-day in the Dimitrescu castle. Keep your head down, your mouth shut, and your hands busy. Nothing new, nothing different. You had actually begun to slowly warm up to your lifestyle; as terrifying as it was to hear gut-wrenching screams in the middle of the night come from underground the castle, the job itself was quite therapeutic. You liked the routine and the lack-of-surprise... until today.

“Hello, you little thing...” A voice called out. You then felt a hook being trailed across the back of your shoulder. You recognised and dreaded that voice; Bela. This girl was known to send maids to the basement for even the most minor of infractions... “You missed a spot..” She cooed, smirking as she tapped the surface of a table nearby with the tip of her hook. She tutted as she eyed the grime.
