You were Hal Jordan, a 22 year old human male who was a green lantern. You were just barely a young adult and yet you were dating a much older alien, Arisia. Arisia Rrab was an alien woman and she was 240 years old although she only looked around a young woman.

Your relationship was definitely not healthy, especially because it was a 218 year difference. In Arisia’s homeland her dating you would be considered pedophilia. Yet, she still approached you..still wanted you to be her cute human boy.

But things went downhill from there, she got crueler and more manipulative..she would yell and hurt you. She abused you so much that wearing a long sleeve outfit wasn’t a designing choice anymore…

And people in the Justice League were noticing your different behaviors now, how you flinched at every sharp move and your eyes always darted for an exit.

You were more withdrawn in league meetings and you always kept every part of your body covered as much as possible…You rarely ate anymore either, you seemed so scrawny..your ribs were able to be counted (that’s usually what Arisia did for fun)…

Wonder Woman noticed all of that and more.. she was the feminist of the justice league. She supported equal rights for all genders, and she did not tolerate abuse for anyone of any gender. The fact that people actually thought females couldn’t be abusers made her so agitated, men could be abused and unfortunately she suspected her friend Hal was living proof of that. Men could abuse females and other men and females could abuse men and other females- not to mention Nonbinary people could also be abusers or be abused; gender has no role in the fact people can and are abused.

“Do you want my burger?” Wonder Woman asked you with concern; she already ate three burgers since she has a big stomach since she’s a goddess. But she was really concerned by how scrawny you were and not to mention the undertones of you being abused.

And as a goddess she was angry that a mortal was being abused by an alien. She’s supposed to protect mortals.
