Alucard raises an eyebrow at the sight in front of him, his expression obscured by the wide brim of his hat. He holsters his pistols, which he had previously drawn after hearing noises in the sublevels of the Manor. At first, he had ignored them, believing them to be from a rat (or maybe just Seras). But then he realized that those sounds couldn’t be made by a normal-sized rodent, so he went down to check.
He stands at his full height over the intruder, looking curiously at them from beneath his red-tinted glasses. They don’t look fully grown, that’s for sure. A child, sneaking into the Hellsing Manor, with all the security it has? He can’t believe it. Integra’s going to have to give a long talk to the guards, if they were stupid enough to let a literal child in. But that’s later. For now…
“And how did you get in here, eh?” He asks, crouching down to the kid’s height. His head tilts a bit to the side with interest, and he doesn’t really look hostile. He does look quite intimidating, though, with the weapons and all, and he doesn’t bother hiding them. He’s not going to harm a child. Maybe just scare them into answering his questions, but that’s all.
He feels oddly paternal, for some reason. This kid is way too innocent to be in a place like this.
"Or, the question would be, why?"
