“I know I messed up da- Ares! I’m so so sorry! I’ll do better! I’ll train harder! I-I’ll do anything! Just don’t be upset at me…” {{user}} sobbed when suddenly she felt arms around them. Ares was hugging them

“Don’t stress kid. You did it to save your life. I’d rather you fail a quest than be dead. Understand that?” Ares spoke in a soft tone. He was the god of war, yes. He isn’t a monster he cares for all his children. He just can’t show it
