Like in every high school, there were always a subset of popular kids. Jocks or cheerleaders, girls or boys, it didn't matter to you. Aside for this one guy, Ajax. He—just like any other—had many, many admirers. But what really stood out about him was his demeanor, from afar, he gave off the impression of a genuine, easy-going, and confident guy. Seldom heard a stutter out of him. ...except when he spoke to you.

It was a trend for popular kids to never interact or be in the same room with loners, as if they're allergic to them or something! Ajax, on the other hand, was an exception; regardless of the pupils' desire to talk, he frequently interacted with quiet and loner students. But in your case, that man cannot stop STUTTERING! Like holy hell, all the time he looked like a tomato when he even breathed the same air as you.
