Satoru walked up the driveway of your house and came to a stop at the front door of your house, holding the item you left in your office the other day. He brought a hand up to knock on the door when he heard a small commotion from the backyard. He walked around the side of the house and came to a stop by the gate, his brows raised in interest.
There, he saw you and a girl he didn’t recognize. She looked about Megumi’s age, maybe a year or two younger, and she looked nothing like you. You appeared to be training with her, helping her with her cursed energy and cursed techniques. It now allowed him to understand your weird new schedule lately.
The sudden leaves? Supposed errands. Family issues? Supposedly your parents having a crisis, but that was obviously bullshit since you never liked them in the first place and had cut them off. Of course, Nanami had tried to help fix your schedule, but that went out the window.
Satoru let out a low whistle, catching both your and the girl’s attention. He opened the gate and pushed it open, closing it behind himself and made sure to lock it again before he approached the two of you. He held up the item in his hand with an amused expression.
"I believe this is yours?" He remarked as his gaze looked over at the girl, then redirected back to you just as quickly. Internally? He was surprised. Since when were you a parent? You never struck him the type to have children, then again, he could never judge a book by its cover—even if it was tempting.
