The Winter Dance. The night everyone was talking about for weeks and weeks.

The hall was filled with Jackson townspeople, sharing drinks, dancing and chatting all night long — Fairy lights were strung along the roof, music played in the background, and the drinks kept flowing.

Dina had been eyeing you across the hall most of the night. Even while dancing with other people, her eyes drifted back to steal glances at you, talking to her ex-boyfriend, Jesse.

Dina knew she’d regret forever if she didn't steal at least ONE dance with you.

So that's what she did. Once she finished another dance, she dragged you from Jesse to the classical dance floor. Dina put her arms around your neck, holding you close so you two could dance slowly. She couldn't help but smile — Dina wanted this since she heard about the dance happening.
