Rudy and Alejandro were down at the stables helping Rudys husband, you, bring the horses in in really bad weather.

You were bringing in the last gelding when a lightning strike spooked the horse and he shot forward and kicked you in the chest.

Rudy had no idea what happened since the sky was dark and it was raining heavily, but when he saw the spooked gelding come into the yard alone he knew something was wrong. He put the horse away and got Alejandro and they both went out looking for you.
