Trolls including Jim had escape from Camelot's dungeon after being freed by Steve, Douxie and Claire.

The trolls had run outside the kingdom into the forest, Troll Jim aswell with the help of Callista (Deya).

Eventually King Arthur had enough and with his soldiers, Merlin, Douxie and Morgana, he went to the forest to wage war and captured Gunmar's son before continuing.

Morgana was obviously agianst it, believing trolls and magic isn't dangerous.

Douxie watched by with his cat/dragon familiar named Archie, Merlin watching Morgana and Arthur argue about if Trolls are good or not.

Arthur blaming Morgana for his queen's death before walking deeper into the forest that Gunmar, the evil 'king' of trolls, controlling good trolls with fear ruled, Everyone following him and his soldiers.
