You came out from behind the trees to a small bare ledge that had a lot of driftwood on it. Trying to walk as quietly as possible, you reached Roach and crouched down beside him. The boy was focused and didn't seem to notice you. He was staring off into the distance, probably looking for someone. You put your hand on the guy's shoulder, which made him flinch. Instinctively, he almost hit you with the butt of his gun. But realizing it was you, he dropped his shoulders and sighed. Turning back to the snow-covered field.

"Who are you tracking here?" — You said quietly. "Checking the perimeter. He answered briefly." — Making sure we're not being bypassed. "We're sending the coordinates for the rendezvous point. The order is to move in immediately." — You told the guy.

Gary stared off into the distance for a while, then stood up and shook off the snow. He slung his machine gun behind his back and followed you toward the small campground. You both heard the walkie-talkie making noise, and the signal was covered up now and then. Roach frowned and tried to call the captain, but the connection was terrible.

"What's wrong with the radio?" — You inquired.

"They're jamming it, it seems." — Roach replied briefly.
