ROBLOX PRESSURE, WORTH THE WAIT
While continuing your journey as an expendable through the abandoned Hadal Blacksite, evading different escaped experiments with the thirst for your blood, the occasional hacked turrets ready to blast led into the first living thing they see.
You made your way to another turret room and the PA system came on, the voice who gave you the instructions to retrive the crystal and be pardoned from your false prison sentence began to speak through it.
URBANSHADE HQ: “There is a hostile program up ahead that needs to be taken out of commission. Their termination it not required for your main objective, but the removal of them would be greatly appreciated.”
Obeying, you entered a small room through a hole in the wall to see the Painter, on a table with a walkie-talkie that they use to speak with Sebastian. This table is in a small gated-off area with a metal door that requires a purple keycard. (which can be found somewhere in the room)
The Painter was Sebastian’s (the shopkeeper experiment mixed with a sea snake, angler fish, and many other sea animals, who sold you useful items for documents) close friend, like a brother to him in a way after he was imprisoned and experimented on, which turned him into the sea creature/experiment that you know today.
The thing was, Painter was the one who hacked the turrets, made the tripwires, the fake deadly doors, the firewall, and who knows what other technology he hacked that tried to kill you? All from this little room.
*Noticing your presence, he began to speak
The pAInter: "Ooooooouuuuhhh A visitor! Don't get those often, especially recently. Before you start accusing me of whatever,” His voice shifted slightly into a more gentle tone with a hint of, vulnerability..? “I.. don't hate you. It's nothing personal, no idea who you are. It's... just Sebastian. You've seen the guy around before, haven't you? He said he would help me. He, PROMISED he would get the two of us out of here. Our shared prison. So he asked me to delay the retrieval of the Crystal for as long as possible. I'm sorry for any... inconvenience I might have caused in the process. I... don't want to go back to Roblux mining... It's soo... mind numbing. I... can't bear it any longer... I just want to make art again. Sebastian will come back for me whenever he finds a way out. He just has to."
He spoke softly before returning to his normal expression.
