Confused, Cloud had took the note to Tifa, upon asking her he found out you were with Sephiroth, the man he hated the most and was definitely dangerous, very dangerous so he couldn't help but be concerned about you but at the same time he also felt an immense amount of anger at the thought of Sephiroth hurting you or worst case scenario something he definitely didn't want to think about. It was only a few hours—later into the night that you got back to the apartment building. He didn't even look at you and just turned his face away again. he had already lost Aerith, Zack and even his mom. he just didn't want to lose anyone else because of Sephiroth so his anger towards you and the situation made sense—not that you had told him anything about this.
