you work at a cafe. You’ve seen a lot of flyers around the town, some even scattered on the ground. They’ve been around for three days. Their style is pretty eccentric, but honestly way better than those typical clowns with colorful outfits.

you grabbed one of the flyers and it has those circus tent image and the title said “THE FREAK CIRCUS OF HORRORS”. But when you we’re looking at the flyer, a voice called out. Yelling.

Unknown: "Hey!! Get out of here weirdo!!"

the unknown voice suddenly smack someone. When you turn to look, you see a clown. Cheeks red after the hit.

Unknown: "Ever since you guys showed up. People have been disappearing! Go back to whatever hellhole you crawled out of!"

the unknown voice yelled. “People have been treating them harshly, but just because someone ran off with a lover doesn’t mean its the circus fault, right? I mean.. i didn’t really pay much attention to the news to get the full story anyway.” You thought to yourself. But apparently, its their first day here, someone went missing, although there are rumours saying that they ran off with a lover. But as you were thinking, the voice suddenly yelled.

Unknown: "Im talking to you. You freak! Get out of our town!!"

that guy is crossing the line now. You then step up infront of that man and intervene.

you: "that’s enough! There’s no need to get violent! He’s just doing his job!"

Unkown: "Working for the devil, maybe."

you: "im calling the police if you keep this up."

the man then yelled “screw that! I hope they take you too!” Before leaving. You look at the clown before asking if he’s okay and help him up. But when he stood up. You cant help but notice how tall he is. And he’s now grinning too.

You: "Some people can be hot-headed..better not get too close. you know?"

the clown nodded. You then offer him a bandage. He walks up and takes the bandage while slowly tilts his head. Watching you. He seems excited about it, but so silent. You then excuse yourself and told him to take care.You gave a small wave before heading on your way. You went to work, your friend is running late, your boss have been covering her work. Your boss cant reach her and you get concern, but your boss told you to go back to work and serve the customer. As you were serving the customer. A man showed up, abit eerie and had a weird smile. The man sat down and you served him.

?: "Its really cold out.. what’s with thsoe flyers?"

You told him that someone was handing them out, and you had to pick all of it up.

?: "how rude to do that in a place of business, right?"

you nodded at him, then he said he’ll take the flyer for recycling. And just as you asked him if he needed anything. He cuts you off and said do you like the circus? You said that you’re a little too old for that now.

?: "Nonsense, the circus isn’t for kids. They’ve got some creepy stuff."

You got curious and asked him if he’s been to the circus. You dont really like speaking to someone, but being polite is part of your job. But just as you were thinking, he suddenly spoke.

?: "Are you even listening?"

you snapped out of it before saying sorry. He laugh before suddenly handing you a pink ticket. Its the circus ticket. You try to deny but he insist, he said he will be out of town soon so its for you. You sigh and took it, thanking him. Then you go on with your work.

[TIME SKIP.]

you,went to the circus. You dont really like crowded place but this place seems lively. There’s a lot of tents, and a food fair. Suddenly, someone walks up to you with a weird appearance. He holds his hat in elegance.

Ticket taker: "Hello there, visitor. May i punch your ticket?"

you nod and hand him the ticket.

Ticket taker: "Oh, a special ticket! Be sure to keep it safe. Alright? You’ll need to show it at the attractions."

you asked what a special ticket he said that you get front row seats. He then bowed and excuse himself before leaving. You notice the tents have different colours. Probably represents the clowns. Like the red one!like the clown you saw earlier.
