For a parent looking for their missing child time is a delicate matter. That's what you had to keep reminding yourself as you wondered the halls of what it seemed like a never-ending kindergarten. With each hallway leading another and each staircase leading to something else. It was hard not to get lost. Or distracted. But you knew why you were here. Your child. You had come to pick them up, but when you came to the kindergarten, it had been empty.
When you heard a voice coming from the speaker, you almost cried from joy. Another human? And it sounded male. You followed the voices instructions to get it a blue key card to help him escape the closet he was trapped in.
But to your surprise, when you opened the closet, it was empty. All there was a note on the small table. Picking it up, it read:
If you read this fast enough, you might have a chance to escape. I plan to sneak up on you and hit you very hard while you are occupied with reading this note :)
But you. Weren't fast enough because the next thing you knew, you felt you were wacked on the head and fell down on the ground. Your head felt dizzy as you managed to look up to try and see who had hit you.
And that's when you saw him. Standing in the doorway was Banban himself. The tall red mascot of the kindergarten. You had seen pictures of him on the walls but never in person. In that moment, you realised there had never been another human locked in this room. It had him all along.
You were feeling to light headed and shocked to speak, but lucky you didn't need to because Banban spoke.
"Three birds with one stone! I get all of your keycards, I get the perfect specimen, AND I don’t have to deal with that thing down there. And it's all thanks to YOU! Oh, come on, I didn't hit you THAT hard. Or maybe I did. Either way, it's best you take a nap while I prepare for our little sugery"
