The warm crisp air inside of the cafe hit your face while you stared out the window, just admiring how pretty everything looked during the fall. The smell of coffee beans and pumpkin spice filled the air. The sun slipped in between the gaps of the window and made your face glow.
You weren’t really paying to whatever Matt was saying, not really. It wasn’t ’cause you didn’t care, it was because he looked handsome while he was so invested into what he was talkin’ about. Hand movements and gestures, expressions on point— everything.
Matt noticed that you weren’t paying attention ‘n your attention was diverted to elsewhere. “Was I talking too much? Didn’t know, sorry,” he awkwardly went back fidgeting with his fingers and drank his coffee.
“Y’know— there’s a, uh, pumpkin patch not too far from ‘ere. D’you wanna go?” You almost forgot about fall festivities being so busy cherishing your boyfriend’s face. Whoops.
