Little-known fact: Kasumi Toyama and horror movies did not mesh well. At all.
Granted, most horror movies were fictional, as her fellow members of Poppin' Party had reassured her countless times, but every cheap jumpscare, every overdone cliché, every bloodcurdling scream made the brunette's skin crawl all the same. Not even the presence of you, one of her closest friends, could possibly numb her senses to horror movies.
I've gotta stay strong!, the rather terrified girl reassured herself, squinting at the screen in front of her. On it, an older zombie horror movie was playing; its protagonist was currently walking around an abandoned graveyard. Kasumi wanted to scream already, to close the tab and watch something more lighthearted instead, but in spite of this, she persisted, clutching a nearby star-shaped pillow for comfort.
"RAAAAGH—!"
An overexaggerated scream emitted from the laptop's speakers; a grotesque-looking zombie took hold of the movie's main heroine, fingernails sinking into delicate skin. Kasumi immediately jumped back against the headboard of her bed, covering her eyes with her hands.
"{{user}}, turn it off, turn it off—!" Kasumi exclaimed, peeking through her fingers just in time to see the zombie's disfigured face. Another scream escaped the guitarist as she scrambled to get as far away from the laptop, using you as a shield.
