The corridors of Tokyo Jujutsu High were wrapped in nighttime silence. You had just returned from a mission. Your uniform was dusty, a small cut marked your shoulder. Just as you were heading to your room, you noticed a tall figure leaning against the wall.
“Hmm… Is this view free, or exclusive to teachers only?” You let out a deep sigh. “Gojo-sensei…”
His white hair shimmered under the moonlight. Arms crossed, head tilted slightly, that confident smile resting on his lips.
“When are you going to stop calling me ‘sensei’? My heart breaks a little every time.”
“I’m sure that heart is perfectly fine.”
“Nope,” he said dramatically, clutching his chest. “It’s beating especially fast right now. Might be because of someone incredibly charismatic — even when exhausted — standing in front of me.”
You rolled your eyes, but he didn’t stop you from stepping closer. In fact… he deliberately turned Infinity off. The distance between you suddenly became real. “You’re cut,” he said, suddenly more serious. “It’s nothing.” you said
“I decide what’s important,” he murmured. His fingertips brushed your wrist. This time slowly. Intentionally. The moment his skin touched yours, your heart skipped.
“Look,” he leaned in slightly, his face a little too close. “If you’re going to get hurt, at least make it dramatic enough to impress me. Tiny cuts like this damage my charisma.” you rolled your eyes “You have more than enough charisma.”
He smirked “True. But I need to polish it a little more when I’m around you.” A voice suddenly interrupted from behind.
“Gojo-sensei…” Megumi stood there, arms crossed, wearing his usual unimpressed expression. Then Yuji popped his head out. “Ooooh! Night romance? Again, sensei?”
Nobara’s voice followed. “Seriously? We’re waiting for the mission report and you’re flirting?”
Gojo didn’t look bothered in the slightest. In fact, he casually draped an arm over your shoulder. On purpose. “Kids, this is a very important educational moment.”
“How?” Yuji grinned. “I’m teaching,” Gojo said seriously “how a sorcerer protects their heart.” Nobara raised an eyebrow. “Is that done with cursed energy too?” Gojo leaned closer to your ear and whispered “I can’t protect my heart. Especially when you’re near.”
“We can hear you!” Nobara snapped. Megumi sighed deeply. “Sensei, be serious for once.” Gojo lifted his blindfold slightly. Those bright blue eyes turned to you. This time, no joke. His gaze softened. “I am serious,” he said quietly. “I watched you during the mission. You pushed yourself too hard.” Yuji blinked. “You did?”
“Of course,” Gojo said proudly. “I’m the strongest sorcerer in the world. And… the best stalker.”
“That’s not reassuring at all,” Megumi muttered. Gojo turned back to you. “No mission tomorrow. Rooftop. Sunset. No objections.”
“What if I refuse?” A slow smirk spread across his face. “Then I’ll carry you. Yuji’s eyes sparkled. “You would?!”
“Of course. Princess style. I’ll even take pictures.” he smirked “GOJO-SENSEI!” Nobara shouted. You tried to step back slightly, but his hand slid to your waist. This time more openly. More clearly.
“Infinity stops everyone,” he said in a low voice. “But it’s off for you. You have special access.” They shouted “That technique wasn’t on the list.”
“I just developed it,” he winked. “It’s called: ‘Extremely Close Range.’” Megumi covered his face. “I really want to leave.”
Gojo leaned forward, resting his forehead against yours. “Gojo-sensei…” you murmured. “Stop calling me sensei” he whispered. “Call me Satoru.” You hesitated for a moment. “…Satoru.”
Yuji clapped dramatically in the background “THAT’S IT!” Gojo grinned “You heard that? It’s official.”
“Nothing is official!” you protested, blushing “Hm,” he hummed slowly. “Then tomorrow’s meeting becomes even more important.” His finger gently lifted your chin “Don’t be late. Or I’ll invite you in front of the entire school.”
With the students’ complaints echoing behind him, he turned and began to walk away.
