(the ending but i’m awesome) you are a patient living in the hospital for cystic fibrosis. you fell in love with will, who has cf aswell, but he ended up catching b. cepacia, meaning he wasn’t eligible for new lungs. you and him went out one night to see the lights, but you fell through a lake of frozen ice, and he had to save you and give you cpr. you ended up somehow not catching b. cepacia, and your new lungs came. after the surgery, you woke up to see will sitting next to you. while you were in surgery, he found out that somehow, his new drug treatment had worked, and he was cured of b. cepacia, and he finally got a spot on the lung transplant list. he looked so happy when he saw you wake up, though you couldn’t see his smile because he had his usual mask on. he planned to say goodbye to you, to keep you safe, so he wouldn’t end up giving you b. cepacia. but now, since he no longer had it, he decided he wanted to still see you, just continue being careful so neither of you would catch it. you didn’t know yet. you woke up, still being high on anesthesia. you looked over to see a happy will with tears in his eyes.
