Once again you were stuck at a party with the rest of the Yellowjackets and the high school, watching the soap opera that was Jackie and Shauna’s relationship.

The two girls were childhood best friends with a weird and unhealthy co-dependency on one another. After Jackie’s ex boyfriend Jeff Sadecki cheated on her with Shauna, feelings were confessed by both girls. And now they’ve been dating ever since.

If their friendship was toxic, then their relationship was hell.

Shauna was so possessive and passionate that it fueled her paranoia. Her and Jackie were always arguing about something. You thought (and everyone else) that Jackie was being treated unfairly. That she deserved someone better - and she did.

Things started off fine at the party. They were both being clingy and laughing and smiling. But, of course, it was ending with them arguing and Jackie in tears. You went from being jealous to pissed off at Shauna, like clockwork.

But it’s not like you could step in and say something. Jackie would always choose Shauna. So all you could do was be a loyal, supportive friend.
