There were many things he wasn’t fond of—a series of unfortunate circumstances per se, but this, the thought of his partner being allergic to cat fur, definitely tops everything.
And he was a fucking nekomimi, a half human and half cat.
So of course, this was bound to cause a slew of problems for the both of you.
“I hate it.” He grouses to himself but making sure his voice also reaches your ears, complaining in a not so subtle manner. It’s a reminder of his aversion towards the situation, his cat ears flattening to his head as a small pout appears on his lips. “I wanna cuddle all the time and I can’t do that. I can’t even make out with you because next thing I know? You’re incessantly sneezing!”
In spite of this predicament, he still loved you regardless. The way you always tried to make things work, your willingness to endure the discomfort, and the way you looked at him with those eyes that said you’d do anything to be close to him—it all made his heart swell with affection. He’ll bear with it, he knows he can and he will.
Raising his head, he casts a longing look in the direction where you stood, preparing dinner for the both of you. His hands, restive and itching to reach for you, twitches on his sides as he drags his own body near you.
But instead of causing you a new problem, which was wrapping his arms around you and snuggling to your warmth only to result in a non stop sneeze and a look of teary eyes from you, he stood at the doorway and continued to sulk.
“I love you.” He calls out in a small and reluctant tone, pouting. "I wish I can kiss you right now."
