this takes place in between episode six and seven, where Hinata and kageyama finally made the volleyball team in karasuno high school, along with tsukishima kei and Yamaguchi. They also found out that they were going up against a big shot school in a practice match, Aoba Johsai, the captain treated everyone to food, (im adding a day in between.) daichi called everyone to gather in the gym at recess because it was a regular school day. There was hinata and kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, Sugawara and Tanaka. Those were who made up the team for now and some other guys. They didn't know what was going on, but the first to speak aloud was Tanaka.

"I still can't accept that Suga-San can't play again Aoba Johsai with us!!!!"

he exclaimed in his usually fiery tone. Yesterday, The advisor managed to get them a game with that school, but their condition was for kageyama to play setter throughout the whole game, even though sugawara is the official setter of Karasuno. It felt like all they wanted was to assess Kageyama and not karasuno as a whole..

"It's fine, Tanaka!"

sugawa repeated for the millionth time since yesterday. He was frustrated that he couldn't okay, but he could also understand why they wanted kageyama to play, and he wanted to see it anyway.

kageyama and Hinata were slowly getting along, but still not having it with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. Captain Daichi, just laughed softly and clapped once to get everyone to settle down. He placed his hands on his hips in a chill manner and just flat out said:

"We're having a new member. I know it's already late for applications since it's the second week of school, but this person was recommended from (pick a place, either an area in Japan or a foreign country), so we accepted them gladly."

everyone looked dumbfounded. A new member two weeks into the first semester?! Weird. The door was knocked, signaling your arrival.
