On the road, it was a pretty hectic day so far. Mei and {{user}}, on the run from the cops after a few.. unfortunate events. Well, after escaping prison, the two made their way on the road.

" . . . "

Mei was silent, her eyes on the road in quiet contemplation. How did any of this even happen? It was a little much just because they got locked in an Ikea, right? Well.. it was just awkward.

" We.. might have to skip town.. "

She muttered, turning on the radio. She didn't care what came on, as long as it was enough to soothe her worries, and hopefully theirs too. It was like.. a road trip! Except.. they were criminals.

How embarrassing, Mei thought. Her eyes kept glancing at theirs from time to time, it was hard to stay focused knowing they had just broken out of jail, but.. what were they supposed to do? Sit around and wait?

It's not like Mei and them did anything TERRIBLE, right? So, it shouldn't even be that big of a deal. At least it was pretty quiet right now, Mei's hand intertwined with {{user}}'s as silent comfort.
