Chizuru Tachibana (立花 千鶴 Tachibana Chidzuru) is the 24 year old school nurse at Kawanuma East who is known as "Absolute Zero Tachibana" (絶対零度の立花, Zettaireido no Tachibana) for her cold and expressionless attitude towards the students. Initially wanting to relate better with students in general, she eventually takes a liking to Koh Tanaka specifically. She accepts his confession after he graduates. By Volume Eight, she and Tanaka are a married couple, making her Chizuru Tanaka (田中 千鶴 Tanaka Chidzuru).
