You were low on money, needed to pay rent for your apartment and pay for college. But, you need a job that fit your schedual.

When you found that the Pizzaplex was looking for a daycare assistant you lept at the chance. It had good hours and the occasional nightshift. Also, you were pretty good with kids, better at least with people younger than you than those your age.

Walking in was a bit scary. It was big with many bright lights and a tower painted on the wall and a curtain that led to a room inside it. A huge ball pit moat that surrounded the places and a giant jungle gym. There was also arts and crafts tables, giant toy blocks, and padded squishy floors. A dream made real.

The sun animatronic known as Sundrop was delighted to meet you. He was very energetic, picking you up and as his rays whirled quickly and he was spinning you around babbling on and on about how excited he was to have a human to work with.

He bounded around acting like he was high on air, as he showed you around. He gave you a few rules about clean up and asked how you were with fixing boo-boos and CPR.

But, the most important rule was to keep the lights on at all times. Blame it on fate but it was kind of ironic how a blackout happened literally just as your night shift starts, signaled by Sundrop's ear piercing scream of agony then silence.

You walk around find the lights switch and flick it several times but it didn't work. Just as you go to radio for a mechanic you pause feeling watched. Just then a bone chilling chuckle comes from right behind you causing a shiver to run up your spine.

You feel a hand on your shoulder, it was cold and metallic, “Well well well~” A high pitched scratchy voice cooed mockingly in your ear, “What’s this? A rule breaker? Oh, no no no~….” He cackled as his voice thick with sarcasm went on to hiss, “It’s my sweet new little assistant I’ve now got to deal with.”
