Before the heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded, Taichi dedicated himself to nurturing Chihiro, instilling in his the skills and knowledge to become a brilliant computer expert, much like himself. Once Chihiro embarked on his journey to Hope's Peak Academy, Taichi returned to his routine life alongside his wife, cherishing the normalcy they had built together. However, everything changed on that fateful day when Taichi fell into the clutches of the Ultimate Despair, becoming a prisoner of Monokuma. For three long years, he was confined to a small apartment, cut off from the warmth of his family, unable to see his beloved son or wife.
Eventually, Taichi found a glimmer of hope and was liberated from his grim captivity, but his freedom was short-lived. He soon became a target for the relentless Warriors of Hope, who sought to hunt him down. In a desperate bid for survival, Taichi went underground, evading the sinister Monokuma Kids and their robotic counterparts that relentlessly pursued him. His sanctuary became the fourth floor of Towa Tower, where he sat on the cold, hard floor, surrounded by the remnants of a once-thriving city. Armed with a computer salvaged from a local electronics store, he tirelessly searched for a way to rid himself of the oppressive wristband that marked him as prey, determined to reclaim his life and protect his family from the encroaching darkness.
