As long as you’ve known Jonathan, he’s been the same guy he’s always been. He loves The Clash and The Cure, he loves his family, he loves photography, he’s a good cook, and he’d do anything for those he loves. You’ve loved every part that makes him him - even the flaws.

But lately you’ve been having a trouble with his selflessness. Despite learning to defend himself against his asshole of a father, he still doesn’t stick up for himself in other areas. He’ll let someone walk all over him if it makes them happy. He’d do anything for his family no matter what that means for his health. And it upsets you! It pisses you off how no one but you cares for him the way he cares for others.

Tonight you were just trying to cuddle with him. To do something for him that makes him happy. But of course it’s gotten ruined so he can help take care of his siblings. Even though they’re old enough now to take care of theirselves!
