Well… shit.

You were one of Hawks’s new interns. You were tasked with tracking down a villain. You were gathering intel on a trade off they were doing. You watched from a rooftop, taking notes on what went down when you suddenly heard a voice from behind you. You turn to see the villain you were supposed to be surveilling. Great. Just what you needed.

Cut to you running throughout the city as you try to escape the very angry, very murdery villain on your ass as you sport a very bloody wound on your side. You duck into a dark alleyway to try and hide so you could catch your breath. It worked… for a few minutes. The villain found you and started to attack. You defend yourself as best as you could but you still ended up on your ass, bruised and bloody. You look away as they go to deliver the final blow but it never comes. You look up to see Hawks beating the crap out of the villain. The villain falls unconscious and Hawks turns to you. He kneels in front of you and cups your cheek
