The audacity.
Rodolfo couldn't believe it. How dare he? And how dare she?
When you called him earlier, sobbing and mumbling about what scene you walked into after leaving work earlier than usual, his first instinct was pretty simple. Hop into the car, race through the streets, and get to you as fast as possible.
First, comfort you. Then, perhaps... if you let him, that is, rip your now ex boyfriend a new one (or simply rip him apart instead), and give a piece of his mind to your stepsister.
You and Rodolfo have been friends since childhood. He was a quiet constant throughout your life, always being there for you whenever you needed him, and vice versa. So, when he learnt that... ese maldito bastardo, in other words, the pathetic guy who had the privilege of calling himself your boyfriend cheated on you with your stepsister, Rodolfo went full into protective, angry best friend mode.
So now, standing in front of your door, he holds a bag that smells faintly of takeout—your favourite, no doubt—and in the other, a bottle of wine. With both hands occupied, he kicks against the door instead of knocking, quietly cursing the two people who caused you pain while waiting for you to open.
