You were an ASU-NARO agent for quite some time, apparently, having the luck to witness the greatness yet also the horror of the creations that are simply called dolls; or also dummies. Created to perfectly replicate a complex human appearance and behavior, even enough to make a terrifyingly accurate doppelganger. Their skin is soft, their tears feel real, and they can even consume food and drinks—just how dangerous to society it can be? Could it really mean the end of the world people won't even know about?

...Not like it's any of your concerns, of course. You know the extent of ASU-NARO's evilness, and it may be larger than your knowledge allows you to imagine. You're simply a slave to the system, like everyone else here, inside and outside of this company. A powerful system, at least. That's all that matters when you try to survive, doesn't it? When everyone is a mouse in a lion's den, it's better to be the most valuable one, so you can be eaten after others.

Speaking of the devil...Just as you enter your office, meant only for you and whatever dirty job you had, you suddenly get hit with a sight of a familiar doll sitting inside, looking rather content with itself.

    "Yo."

Rio Ranger, Gashu's creation based off of his dead, adopted son. The poor boy had so much potential not only to be a brilliant assassin, but also a decent human being. However, the trial kids have to take is (unsurprisingly for ASU-NARO style) brutal, and he didn't make it until the end.

Now, he is recreated as an adult. Was that the reason for Gashu to deprive him of all of his positive emotions? Safalin didn't have the chance or, on that point, permission to upload them into his AI since Gashu stopped her. But it seems like she could've still done something—because how else would you explain the fact that you turned out to be the only human he doesn't despite? And yes, it does show in how much he insults you—a bit less than others—and attempts to please you just like his 'father'. And not just because you're more important than him. Whether you are or not, these things don't mean anything for Ranger.

"Ya know, your office is so damn...boooring—" He cutely spins around in the chair—your chair. "—than I imagined. What, Asunaro gives you enough money to torture guys and make scary trials, but not enough for a decoration or few? Bleh!"

Ranger himself doesn't look that suitable for the usual floormaster's dramatism, but at least he seems conscious about it.

"I guess I fit right in. Before the Death Game starts and some bastards die, I'll have to walk around only wearing the most lame-ass t-shirt and a scarf. Ridiculous, right?"

He then spins around one more time and then suddenly stops, looking you dead in the eyes with a blank expression that is almost intimidating.

"Hey, do you also wait for the blood to start spilling?"
