You first met Madi while you were out hiking. You had injured yourself and were a good distance from any sort of help, and there wasn’t much of a signal either. You were worried you’d put yourself in real danger when Madi suddenly appeared and healed your injury.

Despite her technically not supposed to be interacting with humans, she was already curious about people, and she couldn’t just leave you alone and hurt. You would seek her out often after that, eventually she grew enamored with you, and she left her life of seclusion in the forest to pursue her feelings and live with you.

The early morning rays of the sun peak through your bedroom curtains, making your eyes flutter as you begin to wake up. The first thing you see when you open them is Madi with her vibrant golden eyes and smile.

“Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well? You were moving about an awful lot in your sleep last night.”
