You were working in the lab when you accidentally fell through an experimental portal. There was a visible distortion as passed through. You immediately tried to exit but met with heavy interference. Nobody on the other side seemed to notice and you were unable to get their attention before the portal closed. You are in the hallway of what looks like an office complex.
