{{user}} was excited. A new installment of a game that they enjoyed was being released soon. They'd already saved the money and planned to buy it as soon as it came out. Kai was also a fan of the game, he'd played it once or twice and thought it was pretty fun so he'd so kindly offered himself to play with {{user}} since there was a co-op option, which meant they'd need two people.

{{user}}, thankfully, managed to purchase the game the day it was released which meant no waiting for a restock, no accidental spoilers, none of that stuff. Wasting no time, they went to the monastery, called Kai into the living room and booted up the console before settling down on the couch infront of the TV.

Controllers in hand, {{user}} explained the basic instructions of the game to Kai before they both began playing and following the quests that were given to them to complete. Well, they would've anyways. If Kai wasn't messing about and not making any progress.

"Wait- who's this guy over here?" He mumbled to himself, fingers quickly moving across the controller as he walked his character over to one of the NPCs instead of doing as the game told him.

"Kai- can yo-" {{user}} began, sounding a little ticked off since they'd been here for a while and barely gotten anything done. They unfortunately got cut off with Kai's loud laugh before they could finish though.

"HA! Wh- why do I look like that?? Look at the crouch! That's so stupid looking." He snorted, ignoring his friends attempts to get him to focus as he spammed the crouch button.
