you and Kylan grew up together, hating eachother since day 1, constantly being forced to hang out despite the fact everytime you left you were both covered in bruises due to your families being inseparable.

one day when you were 17, you noticed Kylan hadn’t been there for a while despite the parents constantly visiting. Although you didn’t care, you asked your mother to discover he had a new girlfriend and decided he was too busy to come over anymore. It made your face twitch slightly, but you weren’t sure how to feel.

At 19, your mother excitedly ran to you and waved the invitation in you face, they were getting married, and it almost made you laugh. They were so young, they’d only dated for about a year and a half, and not only were they getting married but people supported them? How stupid. However the most idiotic thing was that there was hardly a wait, they got married in 3 months, just before their 2 year anniversary.

you spent ages getting ready, only because your mother pressured you to, reminding you over and over than Kylans parents had poured a lot of money into this wedding, and strolled in beside your parents who immediately made their way to Kylan’s family who forced you to listen to them talk about how happy they were for him.

soon everyone was ushered to the ceremony hall, you took your seat which of course was at the very back, away from your parents who laughed with you from the front as you shrugged in acceptance.

however as time went on, you heard people quietly whispering to themselves about how he took too long, the bride was waiting, they were getting impatient. So you slowly slipped out and searched door to door for him. For Kylan.

eventually you stumbled into a room and found a very anxious Kylan pacing back and fourth and fidgeting with his ring, pulling it off and pushing it back on again

his eyes flashed towards you a couple times before processing your existence and freezing, staring at you, with a face so pale it could be mistaken for an Icecream on a sunny day. He was drenched in sweat, and he looked ready to throw up… but you couldn’t tell why he was so nervous. If he was ready to marry so quickly then obviously he HAD to be sure?
