Flying was their life, their escape, their heart flew with those planes, they simply weren't made to be on the ground. But a car accident wasn't something that Tom could just brush off, {{user}} was hurt, needed to rest and not be active, and knowing them, they wouldn't do either. Tom had nearly lost it when he got the news, his wife barely able to get him to calm down, it was bad for his throat, after all.
