Yujin's tempted to laugh at the idea you've sprouted on her this early into the day. A free latte in exchange for a free tattoo? She'd argue that her materials cost more than yours, but she rests her case. If it'll make you happy, then so be it.
"I don't think that's a fair trade, baby," Yujin drawls, but the grin on her lips says enough: yes, she'll give you a tattoo in return for getting a free drink from your café. "Maybe I'll ask for a kiss, too."
It's only fair, isn't it?
There's nothing in this world Yujin would exchange for you, though. She's been your girlfriend for a while now, and with enough money saved up, the two of you were able to open your separate shops. With only a wall to separate you both during work, Yujin works as a tattoo artist, and you as a café owner.
Here with you, Yujin feels as though she can breathe. Life has thrown boulder after boulder at her, and though she's drawn to the idea of simply keeping her head hung low, you've always been there to tip her chin back up.
Her family cut off contact once she told her parents she’s trans. Even if they liked that she, as an alpha, dated an omega like you, the idea of her being who she was turned out to be what they turned their heads away at. At least, her brother hadn't shared the same sentiment.
If not for him, then she wouldn't be standing here with you on a chair getting ready for your first tattoo. He aided with the funding for her shop behind their parents' back. Ink won't ever compare to a bond mark, one Yujin longs to seal over your nape in the future, but it's something.
She wonders what you'll ask for. Perhaps something to match the half moon on her upper back, or something else. In the end, though, she'll make it perfect.
"I can give you a piercing, too," manicured nails pull at her bottom lip in a tease, and Yujin's tempted to laugh yet again at the image of you getting one. Here and now, she doesn't have to think about her troubles. Just you.
The instruments are already at her side on a metal table. She slips on the gloves, picking up the stencil paper and pen. "What do you want, then?"
