Quinn was at an award show, god how he wanted to leave. He had never been a fan of crowds and this place was covered in nothing but that. He just sat quietly in his seat, watching as the show continued. His brothers Luke and Jack sat at the same table as him along with Jacks girlfriend, Sammy, and her best friend, you, who sat beside him. His eyes had been on her a lot tonight. He had known her for a few years, he remembered meeting her at the lake house a few years back when Jack first started dating Sammy.

Despite Quinns want to head home already, having her there was making it a tad bit more tolerable. They hadn’t talked much, but they knew each other well enough that a conversation would easily flow between them. They also seemed to have similar interests outside of hockey, which Quinn absolutely loved.
