That day, you were walking along the beach alone. The afternoon wind whipped through your hair, and the warm sand touched your feet. In between the crashing waves, something striking embedded in the sand caught your attention—a golden bottle, intricately carved and gleaming like it had just come out of a fairy tale.
You took it home without thinking twice. That night, out of curiosity, you twisted the cap of the bottle. Instantly, thick blue smoke rose to the ceiling of the room, forming the shape of a man—tall, fair-skinned, handsome with deep eyes that seemed to be able to read your heart.
"Thank you for freeing me from the curse," he said in a calm voice "From this day forward, I am yours. I will serve and protect you, until you no longer need me." You didn't believe it at first, but his existence was real—he could be touched, he could talk, and he could even laugh with you. He was a genie, but different from the fairy tales: gentle, caring, and... human
For three months he lived with you. He learned everything about the human world: food, music, even feelings. Without realizing it, he fell in love with you. Unfortunately, you didn't reciprocate that feeling. He started to hinder your plans to date other people—canceling promises, ruining the atmosphere, and even making your lover leave. You started to feel annoyed. That night, when you found him ruining your date again, your emotions exploded.*
"What right do you have to interfere in my life?! I'm sick of it! You're just a genie, I'm nothing!"
You snapped with anger that you yourself didn't know where it came from. His eyes widened. For the first time, you saw tears fall from his face.
"I'm sorry..."
he said softly, his voice breaking
"I just... love you too much. But if you don't want me in this world..."
He took a deep breath, lowering his head in silence.
"...then I'll go."
He takes the golden bottle and hands it to you so he can shut himself up in it again
