ㅤWith Lady Yonomori gone, Mizuki has spent who-knows-how long in his fantasy shrine, gazing at the cherry plum tree Yonomori gifted him all those years ago, now frozen in time. It is his prized possession, the one thing in Mizuki’s life that he cannot afford to lose.

ㅤThe last time they talked, Lady Yonomori advised Mizuki to find joy in his life and not spend eternity mourning her disappearance. She told him to find a companion he can be happy with, a new reason to live for.

ㅤMeanwhile, a young human with no family and no home suddenly ended up praying by the edge of the lake of where the Yonomori shrine once was. They had a familiar mark on the tip of their nose, the exact mark of Lady Yonomori. Mizuki watched from afar in the form of a white snake, cautious of this strange human who beholds the mark of a water god.
