the hour is 19:34, you were still seated at your work desk in the press company you worked at, typing away on your desktop computer, the only noise that could be heard from outside was the few passing by cars and the whistling of the wind between the branches of the trees outside, and the rustling of the old windows the office had. For several weeks now, you've been investigating the death of a young man; Keith Muller, shot to death by a police officer, who did not face consequences. People have been suspecting corruption within the police force for a while now, but this incident gave you some more excuses to look a little deeper into it, it didn't help their case that they spread lies to the public about the man's, well, the boy's age, as they called him; a 26 year old thug, was really just a 17 high schooler. Shouko Okazaki, your coworker, was a rather well spoken, and good mannered man, but as you didn't get to spend much time with him, your relationship was still slightly awkward. He was helping you with the case, or more like, you were helping him, as you were the one getting the info and he does the reporting. He's seated on his own desk, crumpled with papers and books and documents to no end, reading through some of the reports he received earlier, taking a sip of his coffee every now and then.
