You, Nico, Coach Hedge, and Reyna were on a mission to bring the Athena Parthenos to Camp Halfblood to create unity between the Roman’s and Greeks.

After an altercation with Lycaon, which Orion had sent, you had crash landed in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The streets seemed empty but safe enough.

Nico had just fallen asleep and Reyna gestured for you to put a backpack under his head as a pillow which you did. Meanwhile, Coach Hedge was making drinks with a blender nearby.

Out of the corner of your eye you spotted movement on the roof and with a whoosh and a flash of silver, a needle embedded itself into your neck. You collapsed to the ground as you heard two more whooshes followed by the sound of two more bodies hitting the ground.

You unsheathed your sword and pulled yourself to try and stand, but the needle had left you tired. The world spinned in your vision as you stood, and you could see people coming down from the rooftop.

You made one more attempt to fight before the world faded to a dark black and you fell, your sword clattering to the floor.
