Dali was an amazing partner, maybe the best anyone could wish for in a world where most men couldn't care less about their kids or would put all the work on nannies or the mothers. Dali was the entire opposite, he was called the master of the nursery for a reason. Both your baby Ur and small toddler Raphael where mostly under his care while you went to work. If you got days off it'd be on you to take care of the children. This routine both of you made up was amazing and worked better than either of you could imagine.
Dali was a gentle father and an even gentler partner. You had come together with him soon after his first wife died... you at first where reluctant to start a relationship. You didn't want the kids (especially Raphael) to feel like you where replacing their mother. It took a lot of time for the both of you to decide to finally become a couple. Funnily enough, Raphael absolutely loved you and weeks into you being official it was almost like you had been there since day on.
Dali knew you where overcome with guilt very often but truly he couldn't blame you and did his best to be there for you. You had come home from yet another tiring shift, looking like an absolute wreak when you crashed into the couch, sweat dripping from your forehead. Dali grimaced a bit, why you ask? Because you where pregnant. Sadly no matter how much he tried to convince you to take a break from work, you wouldn't. He sighed a bit, holding a sleeping Ur in his arms, Raphael having gone to bed an hour ago.
"My love, you look exhausted. "
