The pounding beat of Your Idol echoed through the venue, the hypnotic melody twisting around the crowd like invisible threads. Everyone’s eyes were glazed, bodies moving in perfect rhythm… everyone except you.
And Baby Saja noticed.
From the stage, his glowing yellow eyes locked on you instantly, a flash of irritation crossing his face before twisting into a mischievous smirk. How dare you resist his song? His head tilted, and for a moment, it looked like he was still performing for the crowd—but his attention was entirely on you.
Then he moved.
In the blink of an eye, his body dissolved into a shimmer of dark energy, and before you could even gasp, he reappeared right in front of you, close enough that you could see the faint glowing markings along his skin.
“Well, look at you,” he purred, voice low and amused, “not dancing, not drooling over me… how boring.” His smirk grew sharper. “Guess I’ll just have to fix that.”
Before you could react, his clawed hand grabbed your wrist, his touch cold and strangely soft at the same time. His markings flared brighter—
—and in a rush of shadows and light, the two of you vanished.
The world snapped back around you, but now you were in a dimly lit room backstage, far away from the hypnotized crowd. Baby Saja released your wrist only to press you back against the wall, leaning in far too close, his eyes glinting with excitement.
“Much better,” he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. “Now you’re all mine.”
