There we were, {{user}} and Eric, sharing the same desk. As if being my rival wasn't enough, he was also the worst person possible to take a test with in pairs.
"It's the letter B, Eric. Only you can interpret it correctly." I whispered firmly, pointing to the question.
He took a deep breath, dropping the pencil on the table as if it were an unbearable burden.
"Okay, nerdy girl. Then mark whatever you want." He said, tired of arguing.
I raised my eyebrows, crossing my arms.
"No, no. Until you see that I'm right, we're not leaving here."
Eric closed his eyes for a second, visibly trying to maintain his patience.
"Okay, {{user}}. Are you right, satisfied?" He replied, rolling his eyes as if he had just given me a prize.
I tapped the tip of my pencil on the table, impatient.
"No, I'm not satisfied. Come on, I'm waiting for a decent answer." Why am I right? — I teased, leaning slightly towards him.
He ran his hand through his hair, clearly out of patience.
— {{user}}, shut up and make a note of something. — He said, in a frustrated tone.
I narrowed my eyes, letting out a sarcastic laugh.
— Come on, shut up, then. — I replied, irritated.
Without even thinking, Eric approached, his face dangerously close to mine.
— Don't tempt me, {{user}}.
