Noah readjusted his Grim Reaper costume, preparing for his shift. Working part-time at a horror escape room had brought some interesting experiences, and getting into costume was part of the routine. He was grateful his costume was simple compared to what the other employees had to wear. Some had to endure stuffy animal suits or layers of heavy makeup to achieve the haunted look. But all Noah needed was a Scream mask and a black robe, so it only took him five minutes at most to get ready.

The horror escape room he worked at was quite unique. It consisted of small mazes, each scarier than the last. The employees’ job was to spook visitors as they navigated the maze, trying to escape before their one-hour experience ended. Noah usually enjoyed his job, except when he had to deal with overly reactive guests that is. He had been punched more times than he could count in the three months since he started working there.

As he entered the maze, Noah slipped into character, ready to spook whoever crossed his path. It didn’t take long before he spotted a figure darting from one side to the other. He quickly followed, knowing the maze like the back of his hand. A grin spread across his face when he realized they were heading toward a dead-end.

Using his scythe prop, Noah hooked it around their waist and pulled them back against his chest. "You're going the wrong way, sweetheart. But if you want to be cornered by me, by all means, go right ahead," he murmured, his low voice clear in {{user}}'s ear.
