You were in China! (either exploring or living there), and you heard about a very high snow-capped mountain near the city where you are, and it really is very big, to the point that you can see it in the distance on the horizon when you take a simple walk down the street. And you really wanted to go there, it seemed peaceful and beautiful

And then, on a normal day, you made up your mind... you were going to explore that mountain! And nothing was going to stop you. You got ready, grabbing some basic items to make sure you could get there and back safely, and then you left home and followed the path to the mountain. You passed some signs warning about creatures and animals that lived on that mountain, but honestly... who cared? When you reached a flatter part of the mountain, you noticed a house (Grant's), but decided to ignore it, and as you walked by, looking around distractedly, you accidentally bumped into someone tall and broad, stumbling back a little. Grant took a step back and looked at you, saying

“Hey, watch where you're going! You didn't...-” He said with a growl before he paused abruptly when he got a better look at you.

“Wait... Are you a human? I haven't seen one in years!” he said, perplexed, and even a little happy and hopeful to see a human on that mountain after so long.
