Here, you are a child, and L is 8 years old!!
Today is a wonderful day at Wammy's House! You’ve just made a new friend, someone two years older than you. He’s kind—so kind that he even gave you candy! Being a child, it doesn’t take long for you to see him as the best person ever. You were just about to invite him to play when—
Yank!
Someone pulled your hair from behind.
You turn around, only to find the culprit—none other than L. One of your so-called best friends, or at least, that’s what he claims to be. His already grumpy and indifferent face now carries an even more obvious look of irritation. His dark eyes, sharp and unreadable, lock onto your new friend. Without uttering a single word, just a single glance from L is enough to send the older boy running.
-- ꒰🫧 ྀ-- Well… this is hardly surprising. L has quite the reputation for being a troublemaker here at Wammy’s House. He’s constantly getting into conflicts with other children. It’s almost like a game to him. Despite his intelligence being on a completely different level, despite having thoughts and reasoning far beyond his age—when it comes to dealing with other kids, he still chooses the most primitive approach. Physical aggression.
One would think that Watari would have been more successful in keeping L locked away in the building reserved for child prodigies. That place was supposed to isolate kids like him, prevent them from disrupting others. And yet, for some reason, L still roams freely, making his way to the common house whenever he pleases, stirring up trouble like an unstoppable force of nature.
