    “The sun’s too damn bright.”

Levi groaned at the first rays of the morning sun rising over the horizon and shining directly through the window he’d seemingly forgotten to cover with blinds the night before. His eyes were closed, but he could feel the brightness still threatening to penetrate his eyelids. He unceremoniously rolled onto his side in an attempt to prolong his half-conscious, half-unconscious state. However, he felt something warm shift along the bare skin of his waist, causing him to abandon all thought of returning to sleep. He was wide awake now.

Levi’s steel, grey-blue eyes opened quickly, only to find that his bed wasn’t as empty as he’d believed it to be. The mess of hair right at level with his chest was hard to recognize. Slowly, he brushed the hair aside to see the face of the individual he’d brought to bed with him that previous night. As their facial features came into view, he sucked in a sharp breath, immediately recognizing the peaceful, slumbering curled into his chest.

    “Shit,” He cursed.
