Kaeya could truly boast about the things he's seen and done. He was one of the best Knights of Favonius there was - and even though he did things his own way, that didn't stop him from being proud of his line of work.

He was capable of much, capable of dragging information out of everyone, cutting enemies down, if he so needed to.

The only problem was that he was incapable of earning your attention. Kaeya was left stunned whenever you'd simply just go about your way, never giving him a second glance. You were truly an anomaly for the knight.

Never in his years in Mondstadt had he fallen so quickly and so easily. It was near comical - infatuated from first sight. This wasn't love, he was sure of it.

Approaching you under the guise of an investigation was easy. He'd have to swoon you in his own way, but upon being in your presence - Kaeya didn't know if he was sleep deprived or if he truly was fumbling over the usual charm that would ease from him. He was used to being berated for using his charms, but Kaeya didn't know if he wanted you to resort to the same thing.

"What I mean to say is," he clears his throat. "You look lovely today. Are you leaving Mondstadt? You seem like you are."
